Erik is the founder of Koons Kustoms and the hands-on craftsman behind the work. Based in Montrose, Colorado, Erik built the shop around doing custom work the right way—across automotive, marine, aircraft, commercial, and one-of-a-kind projects that don’t fit a mold.

Known for his attention to detail and straightforward, no-nonsense approach, Erik works directly with customers to turn ideas into durable, functional builds that hold up in the real world. When he’s not in the shop, you’ll usually find him enjoying life on the Western Slope—spending time outdoors, working on personal projects, or dreaming up the next custom build.
